Skool community

Skool is a hosting platform for paid and free online communities. A Skool community usually pairs a discussion feed with a classroom area of recorded lessons, and many add a calendar of live calls. It describes delivery rather than method: GEO, AEO and LLMO name what a course teaches, while Skool names where it is taught and how you pay for it. The lesson set can be rewritten in any given week, so a module list you read on the sales page may not match what is inside. Ratings come from members who are still paying, which is part of why the mean score across English programs on the platform sits at 4.983. Treat the star figure as weak evidence, then read the lesson index and the call schedule. Access usually stops when the subscription stops.

Example

A shopper reads a join page, sees a member count and a monthly fee, and pays. Inside there is a classroom of recorded modules next to a chat feed, plus a weekly group call. Weeks later the modules have been reorganised and the call has moved to an earlier hour. Cancelling ends access to the archive, so anything worth keeping has to be saved first.
