Licence. CC BY 4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/) applies to the compilation and the derived fields (scores, findings, price series). Provider text and reviewer excerpts are not licensed and are not in the downloads. Provider names, URLs and prices are facts and carry no licence. Values are typed: a fact is either a bare value, the string "unverified", or an object with value, url, dateSeen and label. Prices carry amount, currency, model, usd (converted where needed, with the rate date), normalisedMonthlyUsd and trend. Ratings carry platform, value, scale, count, url and checkedOn and are never blended.
Versioning and refresh
The dataset version is the observation cutoff plus a content hash, so two downloads with the same version are identical. Records are re-checked weekly for paid programs; each change appears in updates and the RSS feed with its date. Rubric version changes only when the weights or rules on the methodology page change.
